Sunday, April 23 at 2:00 pm ~ Yarmouth Historical Society is pleased to host the next installment of the “Yarmouth Stories” series on Sunday, April 23 at 2:00 pm. Outdoor Sports Institute founder Andy Shepard will moderate a lively panel discussion about the history of Yarmouth’s ski program. Panelists will include Coach Bob Morse, accomplished Yarmouth alumnus Walt Shepard, and founders and coaches Bill Richards and Don Miller. Founded in the early 1970s, the Yarmouth ski program has been around for nearly 50 years. Hundreds of kids have participated in the program over the years and have been exposed to Maine’s great outdoors. This special program will be a time to remember those years with stories and memorabilia, photos, yearbooks, and even trophies. Please come prepared to laugh and share stories about the good days of the Yarmouth Ski program!
This program is free and open to the public and will be held at Yarmouth History Center at 118 East Elm Street. A reception will follow the discussion.
