Yarmouth History Center is pleased to host a writing workshop with author Steve Langan, beginning in March 2024.
Register to develop and explore your “illness and health timeline” in a guided five-week writing workshop that includes generative information and materials. Encouraging participants to write their personal history will be emphasized—and there’s also the opportunity to explore the history of sickness and health among family members, peers, and even your town and region, among other possibilities. Participants and the instructor will establish writing goals, and all participants will be invited to share a portion of their emerging and evolving work with the group.
The workshop will begin on March 8 and meet weekly from 3:00-4:30 on Fridays through April 5. The final meeting on April 5 will consist of a public reading and presentation. All meetings will take place at the Yarmouth History Center, 118 East Elm Street in Yarmouth. The cost for the program is $150. Please email kworthing@yarmouthmehistory.org or call 207-846-6259 to register.
