Stop by to view the Stonewall Gallery’s newest show, Trees and Dancers by local artist Wendy Newbold Patterson.
Based in Gray, Maine, Wendy Newbold Patterson creates work that is rich in color, form, and lyrical movement. Of the work collected for this show, Newbold Patterson writes: “Trees and Dancers came to visit my imagination when I was temporarily immobilized, recovering from surgery. Out of my windows, I re-discovered the presence, the silent and stationary power of the trees who have been my neighbors for 34 years. I am still learning their many names!” The show includes works in oil, encaustic, and ink. Newbold Patterson is currently represented by Yarmouth Frame and Gallery.
Trees and Dancers by Wendy Newbold Patterson will be on view at the Stonewall Gallery through June 29. The Gallery is located inside the Yarmouth History Center at 118 East Elm Street and is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10-5.
