Stop by the Stonewall Gallery this spring to see our latest exhibit, Twenty Years: Life and Art, featuring the work of four local artists with strong ties to Yarmouth: Carol Bass, Allison Cooke Brown, M. R. Hedstrom, and Margaret Lawrence. The show opens on Thursday, March 10 and runs through April 29.
For nearly twenty years, these four artists have met weekly to talk about art and life. Throughout this time, they developed both a wonderful friendship and the special camaraderie that is often a significant part of an artist’s life. Their work, although very different, speaks to the bond they have shared over the years. This show is the first time their work has shared an exhibition space together and visitors will have a chance to appreciate each artist’s work individually as well as view two collaborative projects created especially for this exhibition.
The Stonewall Gallery is located within the Yarmouth History Center at 118 East Elm Street in Yarmouth and is open Tuesday through Friday, from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm.
