More about The Tuesday Group
The artists in the Tuesday Group have been gathering their creative spirits on Tuesday mornings for the past 20+ years. Their workshops started with artist Sarah Knock who taught and guided for several years until her painting career required her full commitment.
Not wanting to dissolve after Sarah’s departure, the group continued to meet, offering each other support and assistance while working in their chosen media. The group benefits greatly from many fine teaching artists including Diane Dahlke, Richard Brown Lethem, John Ventimiglia, Kathleen Galligan, Claudette Gamache, Tan Larrabee, Jane Lincoln, George Lloyd, Julie Freund, Martha Miller and Judy LaBrasca.
With their rich background, here is a group that has acquired a healthy understanding of artistic concepts and has deep talent and unique vision.
Members of the Tuesday Group are:
Monica Aaskov of Falmouth, Nancy Allyn of Yarmouth, Chris Beneman of Scarborough, Rebecca Gratwick of South Portland, Ann Hecker of Cape Elizabeth, Jessica LaPlante of Falmouth, Mary Longley of Cumberland, Margareta McDonald of Yarmouth, Jean McQuaid of Scarborough, Peggy Murray of Falmouth, Judy O’Donnell of Falmouth, Norm Proulx of Peaks Island, Janet Steeves of Standish, Michelle Stuckey of Portland, Cheslye Ventimiglia of Portland, and Jean Wyman of South Freeport.
