Yarmouth Historical Society and Merrill Memorial Library are teaming up for a new twist on an old program. MML’s regular book discussion group, the Readers Circle, will hold occasional meetings at the History Center to discuss books with historical subjects. Pay close attention to the dates, because these discussions are in addition to the Readers Circle that meets at MML, i.e. there might be more than one meeting in a single month. Old and new readers are always welcome.

Up for discussion this September is Ice Ghosts: The Epic Hunt for the Lost Franklin Expedition by Paul Watson, which is about the discovery of two ships abandoned during an 1845 expedition to find a Northwest Passage. Check out a copy at the library and join us!
