Stop by the Stonewall Gallery this fall to see our newest exhibit, which features beautiful pastel landscapes by Maine artist Caren-Marie Michel.
A lifelong Maine resident, Michel’s work explores the urban, industrial, and pastoral images of Maine and documents the ever-changing landscape. Michel is a devoted plein air painter working in acrylic and pastel on location all over Maine, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia. The current show at the Stonewall Gallery focuses on her pastel landscapes from locations across Maine, including Scarborough Marsh, Wolfe’s Neck, and the Katahdin region. Viewers will enjoy Michel’s deft use of lush color as well as her skill at capturing Maine’s dynamic land- and seascapes. The show will be on view through January 6.
The Stonewall Gallery is located within the Yarmouth History Center at 118 East Elm Street in Yarmouth and is open Tuesday through Friday, from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm.
