Join us to view the Stonewall Gallery’s fall show featuring recent work by Yarmouth artist Margaret Lawrence.
Lawrence’s ethereal, abstract landscapes with their luminous colors and lively textures reflect her process of applying and removing paint. She writes, “Through the give and take of paint, an image that was inspired by a specific place transforms into a sense of place. This approach yields a rich and complex surface with deceptively complex colors.” Lawrence studied at the Maine College of Art and is currently represented by Greenhut Galleries in Portland.
Paintings by Margaret Lawrence will be on view at the Stonewall Gallery through October 29. The Gallery is located within the Yarmouth History Center at 118 East Elm Street and is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10-5.
