Tuesday, March 19 at 7:00 pm ~ Yarmouth History Center welcomes historian Nancy W. Ellenberger to the Spring Lecture Series at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, March 19. Ellenberger will join us to speak about young Winston Churchill and the British Empire.
Nancy W. Ellenberger is Professor Emerita of History at the United States Naval Academy. She has taught courses on the history of Britain and the British Empire and is the author of Balfour’s World: Aristocracy and Political Culture at the Fin de Siècle along with many articles and papers on 19th century history. She holds degrees from Wellesley College, the University of Chicago, and the University of Oregon.
This lecture is free for members of Yarmouth Historical Society and $5 for all others. The lecture series is sponsored by the Leon and Lisa Gorman Fund.
