Thursday, October 6 at 7:00 pm ~ Michael Franz, Associate Professor of Government at Bowdoin College, will speak at Yarmouth History Center on Thursday, October 6 at 7:00 pm. In a talk entitled “Ad Nauseam: Political Advertising in the 2016 Elections,” Franz will elaborate on current trends in spending on political ads and the nature of advertising in this current cycle, including how effective such political ads are in winning over voters. Franz holds a PhD in political science from the University of Wisconsin—Madison and has published extensively about political advertising trends. The lecture is free and open to the public.
