Monday, October 16 at 7:00 pm ~ Join the Yarmouth Historical Society as we welcome Ian Fowler to our ongoing Lecture Series. Fowler, who is Director of the Osher Map Library on the University of Southern Maine’s Portland Campus, will present an illustrated talk entitled “Yarmouth in New England: Patterns of Settlement in Early Maps.”
October 16 is also the date of Yarmouth Historical Society’s annual meeting. Fowler’s talk will follow this very brief business meeting. The lecture is free for members of Yarmouth Historical Society and $5 for all others. The lecture series is sponsored by the Leon and Lisa Gorman Fund.
