In an effort to recognize, preserve, and enhance the Town’s historic resources, the Town of Yarmouth in collaboration with the Village Improvement Society and Yarmouth Historical Society recently conducted an architectural survey of historic homes, civic structures, and commercial buildings over 50 years of age in the village core. The first phase of the survey was completed in 2018-2019 under the guidance of Historic Building Consultant Margaret Gaertner.
More information about the survey, including survey reports and other documents, may be found on the Town of Yarmouth’s website.
Additionally, forms and photographs collected during the survey are publicly accessible via Maine Historic Preservation Commission’s Database of Cultural and Architectural Resources (CARMA).
