Thursday, January 21, 2016 at 7:00 pm ~ Yarmouth Historical Society and Royal River Conservation Trust are pleased to present a free film screening of The Salt of the Earth on Thursday, January 21, 2016 at 7:00 pm. This Academy Award-nominated documentary examines the life and work of acclaimed Brazilian photographer Sebastião Salgado as he explores the planet’s landscapes, people, and wildlife. The film will be shown at the Yarmouth History Center at 118 East Elm Street and will be introduced by a special guest speaker with extensive knowledge about photography. View the trailer here.
This is the sixth film in a series planned jointly by Yarmouth Historical Society and Royal River Conservation Trust. The series will continue on the third Thursday of each month through March 2016 with the following films:
