Thursday, January 18 at 7:00 ~ Yarmouth Historical Society and Royal River Conservation Trust are pleased to present a free film screening of The Great Alone on Thursday, January 18 at 7:00 pm. This award-winning 2016 documentary was shot in the arctic wilderness of Alaska and captures the inspiring comeback story of champion sled dog racer Lance Mackey, who battled both cancer and the elements to become one of the most successful sled dog racers of all time. The film will be shown at the Yarmouth History Center at 118 East Elm Street.
