Thursday, October 20 at 7:00 pm ~ Yarmouth Historical Society and Royal River Conservation Trust are pleased to present a free film screening of Polar Bear Man on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at 7:00 pm. This film draws attention to the effects of climate change in the Arctic by telling the story of Mainer Matt Dyer’s experience during and after a polar bear attack. Dyer will introduce and present the film along with Sabrina Shankman, a Yarmouth resident who worked as the primary writer and researcher on the film. It will be shown at the Yarmouth History Center at 118 East Elm Street.
