Thursday, November 9 at 7:00 pm ~ Yarmouth Historical Society and Royal River Conservation Trust are pleased to present a free film screening of Keepers of the Trail on Thursday, November 9 at 7:00 pm. The film follows a group of nine winter travelers as they walk north between Canada’s two great rail lines, traveling by traditional methods handed down through time. Our special guest speaker for the evening is Garrett Conover, who is featured in the film and known for his wide experience leading traditional canoe and snowshoe wilderness trips in Maine, Quebec, and Labrador. The film will be shown at the Yarmouth History Center at 118 East Elm Street.
The Royal River Film Series, which is planned jointly by Yarmouth Historical Society and Royal River Conservation Trust, is sponsored by R.M. Davis, with cookies by Maple’s. The series continues with the following films:
