Yarmouth is turning 175 years old on August 20, 2024! Did you know that Yarmouth used to be part of North Yarmouth? Citizens of the two towns voted to split in the summer of 1849 and the act incorporating Yarmouth as an independent town took effect on August 20, 1849. Read more about the split of the towns here.
Come celebrate this historic event with us at the Old Meetinghouse (25 Hillside Street), between 11:00 and 3:00 on Tuesday, August 20! This event is free and open to all!
