Friends of Osher Map Library in collaboration with the Yarmouth Historical Society and Gather Restaurant present 1849: A Year of Conflict and Change in Yarmouth. Historian Alan Hall will explain the important events of the year that caused present day North Yarmouth and Yarmouth to split. Professor Mathew Edney will discuss the early maps of the area. A traditional 19th century meal will be served and local ale will be highlighted.

The Yarmouth Historical Society is excited to offer this trip to London, the surrounding areas and the Isle of Wight. We will be traveling October 17-25, 2015.
